Tales of Lake George
Did you know: Werriwa (or Weereewaa) is the Aboriginal name for Lake George?

With the first European sighting of Lake George (Werriwa) on 19 August in 1820 (199 years ago) by convict Joseph Wild, we want to hear your ‘tales’ of Lake George…

Did you once swim in the lake? Have you seen anything particular. Do you know a story about the speed race? Bring your tales and any photographs to our session.

Join us for a fun family morning with Tim the Yowie Man and hear a few of his ‘tales’ and the Collector Historical Society and a special kids guest (think Tales).

Cost: Adults $20 includes coffee/tea and morning tea. Kids free.
When: Sunday 18 August
Time: 10am to 12noon
Enquiries: Sarah 0437 135 767

See the Calendar of Experiences for dates and booking details.
