October 2024 is Lake Burley Griffin’s 60th anniversary. Celebrate on a sunset cruise with Canberra’s purveyor of all things weird and wonderful. Hear tales of hidden caves, floating coffins, and sites of dead drops – not to mention buried treasure. You may even spot the Burley Beast wallowing in the lake’s murky depths.
The cruise includes a cold drink and a snoop around Springbank Island.
Tours depart from Commonwealth Place Jetty at 6pm sharp, returning around 8pm (or a little bit later).
Cost: $79pp.
